Community standard

These guidelines describe the kind of one-on-one space Nanacam is meant to be: social, friendly and comfortable enough for either person to leave at any time.

One-on-one · free to start · leave anytime

The short version

Talk to people as people

Every match brings together two people who may have different cultures, languages, expectations and comfort levels. Curiosity is welcome. Entitlement is not.

You are responsible for what your camera shows, what you say and how you respond to a boundary. A match does not grant permission to demand personal details, move the conversation elsewhere, record the screen or push the exchange beyond friendly conversation. Consent must be clear, ongoing and freely given; silence or hesitation is not consent.

If a conversation is simply not a fit, leave without insulting the other person. If conduct appears dangerous, deceptive or abusive, use the controls available in the product and include useful facts in a report.

  • Be honest about who you are without oversharing private information
  • Accept “no” immediately and without argument
  • Keep clothing, language and camera behavior friendly
  • Leave calmly when a conversation is not a fit
  • Use reports for genuine safety or rule concerns

Content and behavior that do not belong on Nanacam

01

Inappropriate conduct

Unwanted exposure, coercive requests and pressure to share private material are not part of this service.

02

Harassment or hate

Threats, bullying, stalking, degrading comments and attacks based on identity or protected characteristics are unacceptable.

03

Minimum age

Do not use the service if you do not meet its minimum-age requirement, impersonate a minor or involve a minor in any way.

04

Scams and manipulation

Do not request money, promote investments, impersonate another person, distribute malicious links or use romance tactics for financial gain.

05

Privacy violations

Do not record, photograph, publish or share another person’s image or conversation without clear permission.

06

Dangerous or illegal acts

Do not encourage violence, self-harm, illegal trade or behavior that puts either participant or another person at risk.

Privacy in practice

Share slowly, verify independently and keep control of your identity

A friendly conversation can still be with someone you have only just met. Avoid showing financial documents, identification, travel tickets, private messages or a view that reveals your exact location. Use a first name or nickname until you have a reason to share more.

Be cautious when someone immediately asks to move to another platform, sends a shortened link, describes an urgent financial problem or promises an investment return. The U.S. Federal Trade Commission publishes practical guidance on recognizing common online and romance scams. CISA also explains simple account-security habits such as using strong passwords and multifactor authentication.

Apply the rule to the behavior

Ordinary mismatch, poor manners and serious harm are not the same category

A person who is quiet, ends quickly, has different interests or declines a question has not automatically violated a rule. You may leave an unproductive match without reporting it. Likewise, a single awkward interruption caused by network delay is not harassment.

A repeated insult, targeted hate, inappropriate exposure, pressure after refusal, money request, malicious link or attempt to involve a minor is different. Leave the conversation and report observable behavior through the control available in the product. Do not remain exposed to collect a more dramatic example.

Reports should not be used to punish a person for nationality, accent, disability, appearance or disagreement. Include the approximate time, product area and concise behavior. If there is an immediate threat or suspected crime, contact the appropriate local authority; platform review is not an emergency response.

01

Mismatch

Leave normally. A poor fit is not misconduct.

02

Rudeness

Set a boundary or leave; report when the behavior reaches a stated rule concern.

03

Rule violation

Leave, block where available and report factual details.

04

Immediate danger

Contact the appropriate local emergency service in addition to any platform report.

When something happens

Leave first; document only what is safe and useful

Your first job is to end exposure to the problem. Leave the conversation, block further contact where that option is available, and do not continue arguing with a threatening or manipulative person. A concise report should describe what happened rather than speculate about motives.

For an immediate threat or suspected crime, contact the appropriate local emergency or law-enforcement service. A platform report is not a replacement for emergency help. For product support or a question about these standards, email [email protected].
